Welcome to the Kids Corner!
NEW ACTIVITIES ON THE ACTIVITIES PAGE!
This is an area just for you, other kids with bleeding disorders and your friends. We have got answers to some of your questions about bleeding disorders and haemophilia, and fun activities too! Whether you have a bleeding disorder, or your brother, or one of your friends does, there is lots here to learn and do.
Remember if you have questions about bleeding, haemophilia or von Willebrands, the best people to talk to are your parents, your haemophilia nurse or your haemophilia outreach worker. You can also send us questions and we will try to get the right answers for you – we might even feature it on the website or in Bloodline if you are happy to share.
So check it out, print and try some of the activities and let us know what you want to see here!
We always love to hear from you! So send us your stories or pictures and we might put them on the site! Email us at info@haemophilia.org.nz

Children Education Days 2010!
During schools holidays in September and October each year HFNZ hold their very own Children Education Days. This year we had great days in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington and Christchurch, filled with great tips from our haemophilia nurses on spotting a bleed and how to treat one, games,
race car building and rock climbing.
Not to mention the fun of catching up with other kids in the region.
A fantastic workbook was created especially for the workshops. It contains fun activities that help you learn a bit more about bleeding disorders and about yourself, and lets you explore your feelings.
Download a copy of the Children WorkshopWorkbook for yourself here.
