PHARMAC has today announced that it will begin funding Haemophilia treatment in line with the proposals it put forward for consultation earlier this year.

Pharmac has announced the decision for a Preferred Brand model when funding Haemophilia A treatment. You can access the full decision and read some commentary from Pharmac here:

As stated in the commentary Haemophilia NZ will be working with Pharmac and the newly established Haemophilia Treatments Panel as well as the NZ Treaters Group on how to best support people with Haemophilia who are required to change product.
