Thank you Volunteers!

In recognition of National Volunteer Week, HFNZ wants to thank all our awesome volunteers!

This week, 15-21 June 2014, is National Volunteer Week!

HFNZ wanted to take the opportunity to thank all the great people who volunteer for our committees, National Council and a variety of events and fundraisers.  We wouldn't be the organisation we are without you and sincerely appreciate your time and commitment.

The community acts as a basket, containing the knowledge, experiences and energy of the people who contribute to it. This year, Aotearoa New Zealand celebrates the collaborative effort of those who volunteer in communities with the whakatauki (Maori proverb) “Naku te rourou nau te rourou ka ora ai te tangata”, translated as “With your contribution and my contribution the people will live.”

HFNZ want to celebrate our volunteers and their contributions in our community.  Thank you!!
