Teen and youth camp 2024

There are still spaces available for the 2024 Teen & Youth Camp. If you have, or know, an HNZ member aged 11 - 17, then this is the perfect HNZ camp for them!

This will be a fantastic event! We're heading to the Sir Peter Blake Marine Education and Recreation Centre (MERC) in Auckland in March for a weekend full of fun and learning.

Where: Sir Peter Blake Marine Education and Recreation Centre (MERC)
1045 Beach Road, Torbay, Auckland 0630
When: 01 - 03 March 2024

Growing up is exciting, challenging, and often very confusing. When a bleeding disorder is added to the mix the challenges of young adulthood only increase. The Teen & Youth Camp, for 11 - 17 year-olds, uses a combination of education, fun, and peer and mentor support, to help young people move to the next stage of managing their condition. The focus is on being well-informed and better able to make decisions about their bleeding disorder treatment, education, work, life-style and relationships.

The programme is coming together and some of the things we're looking at running include, sailing, snorkelling, and/or abseiling. The MERC team are well respected and highly trained instructors, who will ensure that we're all as safe as can be.

There is no fee for this event.

Register your young person today here: Clicking will direct you to LilRegie, where you can complete the registration details. If you have more than one child to register, please do one at a time and click the Save and Add button at the end.

But you'd better be quick, because registration closes on Friday 26 January!

P.S. If you're aged 18+, and think this all sounds like a bit of fun, you might want to join in as a leader. Just reach out and let us know ASAP!
