HFNZ are pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Chambers as our new Chief Executive Officer.

Coming to HFNZ from Education; Richard has been Principal of Primary and Intermediate Schools in Southland, Otago and Canterbury. In his time within schools he has worked closely with communities and individuals as they have faced a variety of challenges. He holds a Master of Teaching and Learning and other teaching and leadership qualifications.

Richard enjoys creating new things , being involved with creative and passionate people, and being with his family; Noemi, Isabelle and Christopher as the children discover who they are.

Richard is excited by the opportunity to work for and with the diverse community that is HFNZ. Officially joining the team on Monday 21 July, Richard has had a very busy first week and looks forward to meeting members at upcoming events such as the Annual General Meeting in Auckland on 13 September.
