Register now for the Global Summit on women and girls with bleeding disorders!

The WFH Global Summit for #WGBD is a two-and-a-half-day event that will bring together the international bleeding disorders community to engage and discuss issues related to the lifecycle of comprehensive care for women and girls.

The event will offer attendees many opportunities to interact with other people in the bleeding disorders community.

The program covers issues such as heavy menstrual bleeding; when to seek treatment; what are the signs and symptoms of a bleeding disorder; how to seek help; and how to advocate for optimal care and treatment. It also covers action-based topics like how to use your voice to empower yourself, and provides examples of concrete ways to address disparities in care, treatment, and diagnosis.

Some new features of the Summit are the “ask the experts sessions”, where you can interact with health care professionals on a variety of topics, and the “toolkit sessions”, where you will receive tips on how to talk about periods and prevention, and strategies on how to conduct advocacy. “Hot topic exchanges” will allow you to exchange ideas with colleagues about issues that are important to you.

In addition to these exciting sessions, the Summit will also feature a stories page where you will find an interactive map of women's stories told through writing and artwork. We encourage you to write your own story and inspirational message on this page to share it with the world.
